Maruti Suzuki expands FRONX Velocity Edition across all variants
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has broadened its popular FRONX Velocity Edition across all 14 variants of the SUV, including the 1.2L (Petrol and CNG) and 1.0L powertrain options, available in both manual and automatic transmissions. The FRONX 1.2L Velocity Edition Sigma variant is priced attractively at ₹7.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for a limited time.
Building on the success of its initial Turbo powertrain launch, the Velocity Edition enhances FRONX’s dynamic and aesthetic appeal with exclusive accessory upgrades. This edition is conceptualized for young, aspirational trailblazers, reflecting the ‘Shape of New’ philosophy by seamlessly integrating futuristic design, cutting-edge technology, ample ground clearance, and a commanding presence.
The FRONX SUV offers two advanced next-gen powertrain options to cater to diverse customer needs. For performance enthusiasts, the 1.0L K-Series Boosterjet petrol engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering-mounted paddle shifters, promising exhilarating driving pleasure. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with the advanced 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Idle Start Stop technology, paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AGS transmission. An eco-friendly option, the FRONX S-CNG, offers best-in-class fuel efficiency of 28.51 km/kg.
