Mahindra Defence Systems bags $150m contract for light specialist vehicles from Indian MoD

The (MoD) has given an INR 10.56 billion ($150 million) contract to Mahindra Defence Systems (MDSL) for the supply of 1,300 to the .

According to Mahindra Defence Systems, the 300 light specialist vehicles are planned to be inducted in four years.

The armoured solutions provider said that the light specialist vehicle is a modern fighting vehicle. It will be authorized to multiple fighting units for carrying medium machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, and also anti-tank guided missiles.
