L&T Technology Services opens ER&D Center in Toronto
L&T Technology Services has opened its engineering, research, and development (ER&D) Center in Toronto, which is the third nearshore global design hub of the Larsen & Toubro subsidiary in two quarters.
According to the Indian pure-play engineering services company, the ER&D center in Toronto will focus initially on creating digital solutions for the transportation industry including railway engineering, for a multinational aerospace and rail company.
The specialization area will include detecting defects in rail tracks, advanced mobility solutions, digital flyboard, digital asset management, communications and sensors systems.
L&T Technology Services said that the ER&D center in Toronto will serve the company’s clients based in Canada to build advanced solutions in digital products. The newly inaugurated hub of L&T Technology Services in Toronto will also serve as a nearshore site for the company’s customers based in North America to facilitate transformative, new-age initiatives in the area of digital engineering.
