L&T Technology Services (LTTS), an Indian engineering services company, has unveiled a new Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Mysore, Karnataka that makes use of the power of the cloud with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The CoE will enable the listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro to move its portfolio of cutting-edge technology focused towards the future of mobility and cut the time to market for customers at the end of the line. Through the use of AWS infrastructure, L&T Technology Services will offer the possibility to utilize AWS to help support the automotive sector.

With its engineering domain knowledge with respect to electric, autonomous, and connected vehicles (EACV), L&T Technology Services is said to have helped OEMs to create the next generation of vehicles and aircraft that offer customized solutions that are focused on security and safety.

The Mysore CoE will make use of the company’s cross-disciplinary expertise to address mechanical, embedded, and digital aspects of engineering.

L&T Technology Services said that he has been working with the likes of AWS to provide digital engineering solutions to customers via the cloud. AnnotAI, Connected Cars, and SafeX are among some of the company’s solutions, which will be available through the AWS Marketplace to maximize research and development (R&D) innovations in the cloud and create high-end technology solutions for the enterprise.

LTTS AnnotAI and Connected cars as well as SafeX solutions are said to have already been implemented by global automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers, enabling them to gain significant time-to-market advantages. At the Mysore CoE, AWS software-defined vehicle and AWS IoT FleetWise will be integrated with L&T Technology Services’ digital offerings to gather and transfer vehicle data into the cloud in nearly real-time.
