Live365 partners with ChristianNetcast to transform faith-based broadcasting
In a significant development for the world of internet radio, Live365, a leading platform for internet radio stations, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with ChristianNetcast (CNC), aiming to revolutionize streaming services for hundreds of faith-based broadcasters. This collaboration extends to broadcasters on CNC’s sister company, MainstreamNetwork, broadening its impact across the digital broadcasting landscape.
The partnership was unveiled in anticipation of their joint exhibition at the upcoming National Religious Broadcasters conference (NRB 2024), where the teams from Live365 and ChristianNetcast will showcase the extensive benefits of this alliance. David Palmer, VP of Sales and Marketing at ChristianNetcast, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This year we celebrate 25 years of servicing ministries. I’m so excited to be launching this new endeavor with Live365 at the NRB convention where it all began for us.” Palmer highlighted the partnership’s aim to provide ChristianNetcast customers with access to cutting-edge streaming technology, thereby enhancing the reach and impact of faith-based broadcasting.
The agreement between Live365 and ChristianNetcast promises to deliver a comprehensive suite of services to religious broadcasters. This includes advanced music licensing coverage in the US, UK, and Canada, distribution opportunities through mobile apps and exclusive partnerships reaching over 30 million potential listeners, and full-service customer support encompassing email, chat, and phone options. Jason Stoddard, President of Live365, underscored the company’s commitment to supporting faith-based broadcasters, stating, “Hundreds of faith-based broadcasters have built amazing stations on Live365 for years. We love that we can provide that same home for the excellent audio content across ChristianNetcast (and MainstreamNetwork) and give those stations the most advanced, easy-to-use technology to ensure the engagement and growth of their communities for years to come.”
Established in 1999 and relaunched in 2017 as part of SoundStack, Live365 has been at the forefront of internet radio and broadcasting innovation. Its platform empowers individuals and organizations to create online radio stations, offering a wide range of music and talk content, along with licensing, monetization, and distribution services. ChristianNetcast, founded 25 years ago by Todd VanTasel and David Palmer, emerged from the founders’ vision to enable local churches to broadcast their services online and expand their communities. Together with MainstreamNetwork, they have been instrumental in bringing hundreds of radio streams online, connecting valuable audiences globally.
