Leprino Foods taps Univar Solutions for ingredients and dairy products distribution

Univar Solutions, a provider of specialty ingredients and chemicals, said that it has been selected by Leprino Foods Company as an authorized distributor of nutritional ingredients and dairy products in the US and Canada.

The products include lactose, whey protein concentrate and isolate, sweet whey, milkfat globule membrane (MFGM), and micellar casein. The ingredients are used in adult, early life, sports and animal nutrition products, nutraceutical blends, and commercial food and beverage applications to cater to the demand of health-conscious consumers as they focus on enhancing overall health and wellness, said Univar Solutions.

Last June, Univar Solutions launched a specialized team called Foodology by Univar Solutions, which is dedicated to the unique distribution and technical innovation requirements of the food and nutrition ingredient sectors.
