Labola gold project : Panthera Resources wraps up RC drilling program

Panthera Resources said that its associate company Moydow Holdings has wrapped up the reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Labola gold project in Burkina Faso.

According to the UK-based gold exploration and development company, a total of 4,740m of RC drilling has been completed at the Labola (Wuo Land) Project in 31 drill holes. These include 2,905m twin drilling in 19 drill holes, 1,114m infill drilling in seven drill holes, and 721m exploration drilling in five drill holes.

Panthera Resources said that the RC program was carried out in order to report a maiden resource estimate for the Labola gold project.

The company expects to release full assay results by the end of the quarter.  In conjunction with the work, Panthera Resources is currently compiling an NI43-101 report, which subject to the drill assay results, is likely to be published in Q4 2021.

Panthera Resources stated: “Work by Panthera and Moydow has shown that excellent potential exists confirm the historic database with a view to reporting a maiden resource estimate in accordance with JORC or NI43-101 guidelines.

“The recently completed drilling programme was designed to confirm the historic database and support Moydow’s efforts to prepare a maiden resource estimate as well as to test two high priority exploration targets.”

Labola gold project is located in southern Burkina Faso, nearly 380km southwest of Ouagadougou.
