Kirloskar Brothers Q3 FY23 profit after tax surges by 308% to Rs 89cr

Kirloskar Brothers Limited has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 88.9 crores for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (Q3 FY23), an increase of 307.6% compared to INR 21.8 crores for the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

For the quarter ended 31 December 2022, the Indian pump manufacturing company had earnings per share (EPS) of INR 11.16, a 308.6% increase compared to INR 2.73 in Q3 FY22.

Kirloskar Brothers earned revenue of INR 957.5 crores during the reported quarter, which is an increase of 32% compared to INR 725.3 crores of revenue in Q3 FY22.

The Kirloskar Group company posted a profit after tax of INR 135.1 crores for the nine months ended 31 December 2022, an increase of 240% compared to INR 39.7 crores in 9MFY22. Its 9MFY23 revenue was INR 2,605.6 crores, an increase of 24% compared to INR 2,103.2 crores in 9MFY22.
