KEC International wraps up Rs 62cr acquisition of Spur Infrastructure

KEC International Ltd., an Indian construction engineering company owned by RPG Group, has completed its previously announced INR 62 crores acquisition of Spur Infrastructure.

The deal was announced last month.

Spur Infrastructure, which is based in Ahmedabad, is engaged in providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the oil and gas pipelines sector.

Founded in 2016, Spur Infrastructure lays cross country oil and gas pipelines and city gas distribution networks.

At the time of announcing the deal, KEC International said that Spur Infrastructure will enable it to tap into the lucrative growth opportunities in the oil and gas cross-country pipelines EPC sector in India and also international markets.

Following the closing of the deal, KEC International stated: “We would like to inform that the Company has completed the acquisition of Spur Infrastructure Private Limited today on October 13, 2021 and Spur Infrastructure Private Limited is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.”
