KEC International wins orders worth Rs 1,005cr across multiple business segments

KEC International Ltd., a leading global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company and part of the RPG Group, has announced securing new orders valued at Rs. 1,005 crores across its diverse business units.

Expansion in Transmission & Distribution and Railways

In the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, KEC International has secured a variety of projects. These include orders for 220 and 400 kV Overhead Transmission lines in the Middle East, 110kV Transmission lines in Europe, as well as the supply of Towers, Hardware, and Poles in the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. Additionally, the company has won a significant contract for 220kV cabling works in India from a leading global steel producer.

In the Railways segment, KEC International has obtained an order for 25 kV Overhead Electrification (OHE) and associated works in the conventional segment in India, marking a significant achievement in this domain.

Strengthening Position in Cable Supply

KEC’s Cable business has also seen success, securing orders for the supply of various types of cables both in India and internationally.

Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., expressed his delight at these new order wins. He highlighted the cabling order from a major Indian steel producer as a significant achievement. He noted that these new contracts have expanded the company’s T&D order book in the Middle East outside Saudi Arabia and have reinforced their position in the conventional Railway segment. With these recent orders, KEC International’s Year-To-Date (YTD) order intake now stands at approximately Rs. 10,000 crores.
