KEC International bags orders worth Rs 1,004cr across key business verticals

KEC International Ltd., a leading global infrastructure EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) major and a part of the esteemed RPG Group, has announced securing new orders totaling Rs. 1,004 crores across its diverse business segments. Within the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, KEC International has been awarded projects both domestically in India and in the Americas. These include a composite order for the construction of transmission lines, substations, and underground cabling within India, and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas. These projects are indicative of KEC’s enduring commitment to enhancing power transmission infrastructure worldwide.

Expanding its footprint in the real estate sector, the company’s Civil business has secured an order for a residential project from one of India’s renowned real estate developers. In the Railways segment, KEC International has obtained an order for 2 x 25 kV Overhead Electrification (OHE) and associated works aimed at speed upgradation within India. This project aligns with the company’s efforts to support India’s mission ‘Raftaar’, aiming to enhance the nation’s railway infrastructure for semi high-speed rail connectivity.

Moreover, the Cables division has clinched orders for the supply of conductors and various types of cables, including a maiden order for power transmission conductors from a reputed government utility. These orders further cement KEC’s position as a key player in the cables sector, supplying essential components for infrastructure projects.
