Karnataka Bank inaugurates digi centre at Mangaluru

Karnataka Bank Ltd, an Indian private banking company, has opened a digi centre at Manngaudda, Mangaluru.

The digi centre is said to provide multiple services such as the opening of savings bank accounts, cash withdrawal, issuance of debit cards, cash deposit, and in-principle sanction of retail loans via digital mode/channels in a paperless, safe and secured environment.

Mahabaleshwara M S — Managing Director and CEO of Karnataka Bank said: “Digi Centre is the outcome of continuous and committed efforts of the Bank to make the customer on-boarding seamless, more user friendly and environmental friendly with effective application of digital solutions.

“With simple and efficient processes at the core, the turnaround time of SB account opening, debit card issuance and retail loan sanction is significantly optimized. Going forward Bank would launch Digi centres at various locations across the country for the benefit of customers.”
