Kabra Extrusiontechnik said that its battery division — Battrixx has bagged an order to deliver 8,000 battery packs for WardWizard Innovations and Mobility, an Indian electric vehicle manufacturer.
The battery packs are meant to be used in the Joy e-bike electric two-wheelers manufactured by the Vadodara-based WardWizard Innovations and Mobility.
According to Kabra Extrusiontechnik, this is the single largest order for Battrixx, which is said to offer a variety of advanced lithium-ion battery packs with smart battery management system (BMS). Battrixx is said to offer light weight, maintenance free, high energy density with low charging time, low energy cost, batteries that also have high efficiency, long life, and a smaller carbon footprint.

Kabra Extrusiontechnik, which has been manufacturing plastic extrusion machinery for more than 40 years, had recently forayed into the manufacturing of lithium-ion battery packs. The company is a part of the Kolsite Group.
