JSW Energy awards 591MW wind turbine supply contract to Senvion India
JSW Energy has awarded a contract to Senvion India for procuring 591MW of onshore wind turbines for its under-construction pipeline of wind farms in India.
Senvion India will begin the supply of wind turbines by the second quarter of 2022. The turbines will have a capacity of 2.7MW each.
The value of the turbine supply contract was not disclosed by the parties.
Senvion India will also be responsible to execute a 10-year Fleet-Pro O&M contract. Fleet-Pro is the company’s maintenance program for its installed turbines.
The program provides digital interface with turbines, on-line prognosis, as well as diagnosis and service to realize full potential of the wind farm.

The turbines to be supplied by the Indian wind turbine manufacturer will generate enough power to meet the annual electricity needs of over 450,000 households.
