IT firm Cyient opens new park in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

Cyient, an Indian technology solutions company, said that the Cyient Foundation, the company’s CSR division has developed Urban Forestry Division Land in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad into a park.

The new park has a walking track and a sit-out area for nearby residents.

Under the development project, Cyient Foundation also launched a tree plantation drive, planting more than 3,000 trees.

According to the IT firm, the Jubilee Hills park can be accessed by all residents, particularly the senior citizens within the neighborhood.

The company was supported by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in the initiative.

BVR Mohan Reddy — Founder Chairman and Board Member of Cyient said: “Since the formation of the State, Telangana has witnessed all-round development under the current progressive government. Several sectors such as IT, pharma, and biotechnology have seen significant progress, and the city of Hyderabad has grown manifold.

“Cyient has been an integral part of Hyderabad’s heritage and has been contributing to the city’s sustainability since its early years. We applaud the commitment and efforts of GHMC and are delighted to contribute toward clean and green development of the city.”

Last month, Cyient pledged to become a carbon and water neutral business by the year 2025.
