Isgec Heavy Engineering has bagged a contract to supply a slop fired boiler from an undisclosed company in the sugar industry for its distillery plant in India.
The Indian heavy engineering company said that the slop fired boiler will enable the distillery plant to meet its target of zero liquid discharge, which will result in a cleaner and greener environment.
Besides, it will help in meeting the objective of the Ethanol Blending initiative of the Indian government, said Isgec Heavy Engineering.
The Noida-based company claims to have set up a range of industrial and green energy, and also utility boilers.
Till date, Isgec Heavy Engineering is said to have installed 850 plus boilers in 48 countries, which include nearly 40 slop fired boilers.
