IREDA goes green with new paperless office in New Delhi

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a government enterprise operating under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, has launched an advanced, sustainable business centre at the NBCC Office Complex, East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi.

IREDA, committed to reducing its carbon footprint, has incorporated modern technology and solutions into the new office design to promote digital workflows and eliminate the use of paper.

The agency’s paperless approach will not only minimize waste generation but also contribute to the preservation of the environment. The Business Centre has been meticulously designed to encourage productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being, with designated areas for yoga, meditation, and fitness activities. This move aligns with the agency’s mission of fostering an environment-friendly approach in its operations.

Pradip Kumar Das, the Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, inaugurated the new facility, appreciating the employees’ dedication to the agency’s mission and the importance of sustainable practices in the current era. He acknowledged the new office as a manifestation of IREDA’s efforts to lead in the renewable energy project financing sector, aiming to leverage technology for better operational efficiency and environmental protection.
