Ircon International wins Rs 17.8bn contract for Myanmar-Mizoram road

Ircon International has bagged an EPC contract worth INR 1,780 crores from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs for the construction of a road from Myanmar to Mizoram.

According to the Indian government-owned engineering and construction company, the contract is laying a road from Paletwa in Myanmar to Zorinpuri in Mizoram under the Kaladan Muti Modal Transit Transport Project (KMMTTP).

The duration of the Kaladan Muti Modal Transit Transport Project will be 40 months effective from the date of execution of the necessary agreement, which is expected to be executed within the coming 14 days.
