Ircon International wins Rs 11.7cr order for Guwahati International Airport

Ircon International Limited has bagged a contract worth INR 11.74 crores from the Airports Authority of India pertaining to the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Guwahati International Airport) in Guwahati, Assam.

The Indian government-owned integrated engineering and construction company has been appointed as an independent engineer for operations, management, and development of the airport.

The contract is for a period of 36 months, said the company, which comes under the Ministry of Railways. It was awarded to the turnkey construction company in the public sector on a competitive bidding basis by the Airports Authority of India.
