IP Rings Limited, an Indian auto parts company, has entered into an agreement with UK-based Eminox for setting up a technical center joint venture (TCJV) in India.
Eminox is a manufacturer of exhaust aftertreatment systems for heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
On the other hand, IP Rings is an automotive components manufacturer with a specialization in producing piston rings in nodular iron and high carbon high alloy steels with a range of surface coatings that find application in the currently used high performance low emission engines.
The 50:50 joint venture between IP Rings and Eminox will be responsible for customer, product, market, and vendor development. It will develop prototypes pertaining to exhaust systems and internal combustion engines.
