INTREN acquires vegetation management services firm Shade Tree Service

INTREN, an Illinois-based specialty contractor, has acquired Shade Tree Service Company, a provider of vegetation management services to the electric and telecommunication industries.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Shade Tree Service is headquartered in Fenton, Missouri. Its acquisition is expected to enlarge INTREN’s existing vegetation management services to better serve the requirements of its clients across the US.

INTREN plans to use its expertise in specialty construction to improve the experience and technologies of the vegetation management services of Shade Tree Service.

Established in 1935, Shade Tree Service offers services such as tree trimming, line clearance, herbicide applications, and a range of vegetation management services.
