Insurance brokerage Hub acquires Lashua-LaChance and Hatchett Insurance

Global insurance brokerage Hub International has acquired the assets of Lashua-LaChance & Poliks Insurance Agency for an undisclosed price.

Based in Gardner, Massachusetts, Lashua-LaChance is an independent insurance agency that offers personal and business insurance solutions across New England.

Founded in 1938, Lashua-LaChance is said to have acquired other local insurance agencies over the years.

Peter Lashua, the co-owner of the insurance agency will join Hub New England and work under Timm Marini, President of Hub International’s Western New England branch.

Prior to the acquisition of Lashua-LaChance, Hub International purchased the assets of Hatchett Insurance Agency based in Winchester, Tennessee.

Hatchett Insurance Agency caters to the Middle Tennessee region with personal and commercial insurance and employee benefits. Included in these are home and auto insurance, business insurance, life insurance, group health, and others.
