Infosys to acquire digital communication and commerce agency oddity

Infosys has agreed to acquire German digital marketing, experience, and commerce agency oddity for an undisclosed price.

According to the Indian IT giant, the acquisition bolsters its creative, branding, and experience design capabilities.

Oddity is among the largest independent digital agencies in Germany with over 300 digital experts in its team.

The company enables digital transformation for German omni-channel, e-commerce retailers, FMCG brands, and global mobility providers.

Its service portfolio features digital-first brand management and communication, in-house production, which include virtual and augmented reality, experience design as well as e-commerce services in Europe and China.

Post-closing, oddity will become part of WONGDOODY, an Infosys company. Along with WONGDOODY, the German firm will provide creative and marketing services to help global CMOs, and businesses prosper in a digital commerce world with complementary expertise and skills.

WONGDOODY, which was formerly called Carter Digital, is an Australian design agency, that was acquired by Infosys in early 2021.
