Infosys Public Services launches Canadian subsidiary to accelerate digital transformation
Infosys Public Services (IPS), a branch of Infosys, has announced the establishment of a new subsidiary, Infosys Public Services Canada, Inc. (IPS Canada), headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario.
With local offices spread across Mississauga, Calgary, and Burnaby, IPS Canada aims to boost digital transformation across public sector organizations throughout the country. It also provides access to top-level IT expertise and innovative solutions, designed to enhance government service delivery to the Canadian public.
The expansion of IPS into Canada represents the latest stage in the company’s decade-long presence in the country. It aligns with its growth trajectory and adaptation to changing government security regulations. This latest announcement adds to a series of investments made by Infosys, pushing the company’s employee count beyond 7,000, with a commitment to reach 8,000 by 2024.
IPS Canada is positioned to usher in a modern era of public sector service delivery for existing and new Federal, Ontario, and Manitoba government and crown corporation clients. Through digital and cloud solutions, it seeks to create resilience in its core business systems and processes. Additionally, IPS Canada is planning a collaboration with local universities and technical colleges for talent recruitment.
The Ottawa headquarter of IPS Canada is a 10,000-square-foot digital center situated at 275 Slater Street, Suite 501. This facility is engineered to facilitate the delivery of managed services that meet the security requirements associated with providing services to various government levels.
