Infosys Finacle, IBM to help banks expedite cloud transformation journeys

Infosys Finacle, a digital banking solution suite from Infosys’ subsidiary – EdgeVerve Systems and IBM have joined forces to help banks expedite cloud transformation journeys through the Finacle Digital Banking Solution Suite.

According to Infosys, the Finacle Digital Banking Solution Suite will be available for financial services on Red Hat OpenShift and IBM Cloud.

The Indian IT services provider said that its collaboration with IBM will help banks in scaling business transformation, improve their agility, and fuel their growth with an on-demand portfolio of services and products.

Furthermore, the collaboration will assist banks achieve seamless ecosystem connectivity and offer high quality banking experience for their customers and enable them to meet the necessary compliance and security requirements.

Infosys claimed that the deployment of Finacle solution suite with fully managed Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud for Financial Services has been designed to deliver multiple benefits. These include considerable reduction in the total infrastructure readiness timelines, an application deployment platform that is easier and more consistent, end-to-end automation, and improved security features for cloud environments among others.
