Infosys said that its business process management (BPM) arm — Infosys BPM will grow its footprint in Ireland by opening a new delivery center in Waterford.
The Infosys Waterford delivery center will generate 250 jobs locally.
It will offer customer service, voice support, and technical support operations for large global firms. The new jobs to be created at the Infosys Waterford delivery center will cover various functions across different job levels, spanning a host of skills from customer and technical support roles to subject-matter-experts in the subjects of finance, human resources (HR), capacity management, and planning.

The new jobs announced by Infosys in Ireland add to the 1,000 jobs in the UK that the Indian IT services provider had announced in May 2021.
Infosys BPM, which began operations in Ireland in 2014 in Dublin, has been engaged in providing BPM services for the telecommunications, social media, healthcare, manufacturing, fintech, and edtech sectors.
The business process management provider has expanded in Ireland by opening offices in Waterford, Clonmel, Wexford, and Craigavon.
