Indiana-based Horizon Plastics & Engineering acquired by DexKo Global
DexKo Global said that it has acquired Indiana-based Horizon Plastics & Engineering, a provider of plastic injection molded components, for an undisclosed price.
Located in Osceola, Horizon Plastics & Engineering, which was incorporated in 1983, caters to multiple industries.
Horizon Plastics & Engineering’s current owner Neil Hassinger joined the business in 1985 to supervise the molding operations. Currently, Horizon Plastics employs around 20 people and has a 15,000sft facility.
The company has been a long-term, supplier to Dexter’s door and vent manufacturing facility in Bristol, Indiana.

Based in Michigan, DexKo Global is a supplier of chassis technology, chassis assemblies, and associated components. It was founded in 2015 by the merger of DEXTER and AL-KO Vehicle Technology.
Headquartered in Novi, the company has 56 production facilities and 95 distribution centers.
