ICICI Lombard General Insurance posts Rs 446.6cr net profit in Q2 FY2022

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company has reported a net profit after tax of INR 446.6 crores for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2022 (Q2 FY2022) that ended 31 September 2021, compared to INR 415.7 crores for the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The diluted earnings per share of the Indian insurer for the reported quarter were INR 9.06, compared to INR 9.12 for Q2 FY2021.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance posted a total income of INR 3,808 crores in Q2 FY2022, compared to INR 2,883 crores reported for the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The gross premium written of the general insurer in the reported quarter was INR 4,508 crores, compared to INR 3,254 crores reported in the quarter ended 30 September 2020.
