ICICI Lombard General Insurance posts INR3.45bn net profit in Q4 FY2021

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company has reported a net profit after tax of INR3.45 billion for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2021 (Q4 FY2021) that ended 31 March 2021, an increase of 22.6% compared to INR2.81 billion for the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company’s earnings per share for the reported quarter were INR7.57, compared to INR6.19 for Q4 FY2020.

For the fiscal year that ended 31 March 2021, the Indian general insurance company registered a profit after tax of INR14.73 billion compared to INR11.93 billion in FY2020.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance posted a total income of INR34.89 billion in Q4 FY2021, compared to INR28.5 billion reported in Q4 FY2020.

On the other hand, the company’s total income for FY2021 was INR121.61 billion, compared to INR110.52 billion made in FY2020.

The earnings per share for ICICI Lombard General Insurance for FY2021 were INR32.27, compared to INR26.19 for the previous fiscal year.

The gross premium income of ICICI Lombard General Insurance in Q4 FY2021 was INR35.59 billion, compared to INR32.31 billion reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

For FY2021, the gross premium income of the Indian general insurer was INR143.32 billion, compared to INR135.9 billion posted in FY2020.

The company’s board of directors has proposed INR4 per share as the final dividend for FY2021.
