ICICI Bank says iMobile Pay app used by two million customers of other banks

ICICI Bank claimed that more than two million customers of other banks are now using the revamped version of iMobile Pay, its mobile banking app.

The Indian private lender said that the milestone has been achieved in just five months after making the mobile banking app available to all, including customers of other banks.

The ICICI iMobile Pay app has features such as ‘pay to contact’, ‘scan to pay’, bill payments, and others.

The mobile banking platform was opened to customers of all banks by ICICI Bank in December 2020. The private lender said that its first-in-the-industry initiative has provided the convenience of interoperability by enabling users of any bank to link their accounts to iMobile Pay and start making payments or transactions digitally.
