Hyatt Hotels opens lifestyle hotel FirstName Bordeaux in France

American multinational hospitality company Hyatt Hotels has opened FirstName Bordeaux, a lifestyle hotel, in France, further expanding the brand across Europe.

FirstName Bordeaux is the first hotel in France to join the JdV by Hyatt collection of independent hotels.

Designed by architect Nicolas Adnet from Studio MHNA, FirstName Bordeaux offers 147 guestrooms and suites with names like Cocoon, Canopée, Carat, Collector Suites, and FirstRoom.

FirstName Bordeaux is located close to the Garonne River, the Quays of Bordeaux, the Water Mirror, La Cité du Vin, the Darwin Ecosystem, Bordeaux vineyards, and Arcachon Bay.

The lifestyle hotel from Hyatt Hotels offers three meeting spaces and Le Bada, a restaurant and bar, as well as a secret bar.

Launched in 2022, FirstName is a new hospitality brand, which is part of the Alboran Group, an active owner of hotel properties founded in 2016.

As of 30 September 2022, Hyatt Hotels’ portfolio comprises over 1,200 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 72 countries across six continents.

In late 2022, Hyatt Hotels opened Hyatt Regency Trivandrum, the company’s third Hyatt property in the Indian state of Kerala and the sixteenth in the country.
