Hub International acquires Risk Point Consulting in Marietta, Georgia

Global insurance brokerage Hub International said that it has acquired the assets of Risk Point Consulting for an undisclosed price.

Risk Point Consulting, which is based in Marietta, Georgia, is a specialist in providing college athletics and professional sports contractual bonus coverage as well as over-redemption insurance.

The company’s team is said to have a combined experience of over six decades in the industry. During its 15 years in business, Risk Point Consulting is claimed to have handled over $1 billion in risk exposure.

Hub International said that the focus of Risk Point Consulting aligns with its sports and entertainment specialty practice by complementing and bolstering its existing capabilities.

Risk Point Consulting’s president Michael Wright along with Ari Weitz, Adam Goldfarb, and other team members will join Hub International’s Gulf South region.
