Hooters expands presence with new location in Flemington, New Jersey

Hooters, an American wing joint, has announced the opening of its newest location in Flemington, New Jersey.

Situated at 250 Highway 202, the Flemington restaurant joins the existing four Hooters locations in New Jersey, including Atlantic City, East Brunswick, Princeton, and Somerset. With its sights set on expanding its global footprint, Hooters sees the northeast region, including Flemington, as a prime market for growth and franchise opportunities.

Leading the introduction of Hooters to the Flemington market is Joe Azir, a New Jersey entrepreneur who already owns two Hooters locations and a hotel. The new restaurant officially opened its doors on Friday, May 12, bringing 70 jobs to the community.

The selection of Flemington as a target market was driven by its high traffic and growing population, making it an ideal location as the city gains popularity.

Michael Arrowsmith — Chief Development Officer of HOA Brands, parent company of Hooters & Hoots Wings said: “Now with the Flemington opening, we have 363 restaurants across the globe, and our customers continue to ask for more Hooters where they live, work and socialize.

“Joe is a prime example of the ideal Hooters franchisee – a bold, local entrepreneur with experience growing businesses and wanting to join a proven brand that can bring a fun, sporting restaurant to the community.”

In addition to focusing on the northeast region, Hooters has identified areas such as western New York, western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia as targets for future expansion. The brand aims to cater to underserved areas and extend its presence in these regions.
