Home Robot, an American company that develops products based on robotic technology, has introduced a new robotic window cleaner – HOBOT-298.

According to the Florida-based company, the window cleaning robot is designed to clean windows and also mirrors, shower cabins, and other smooth vertical surfaces effectively.

The HOBOT-298 has a detachable water tank and an advanced ultrasonic water spray feature that can nebulize water into dense mist, which dissolves dust and polishes the windows. The 40ml water tank can enable clean a 40m2 area at a time by filling it with either water or a specially formulated HOBOT cleaning solution.

This product is claimed to simplify the cleaning process and reduce the effort needed by the user. Additionally, the water spray feature helps clean the windows effectively without leaving watermarks, claimed Home Robot.

The HOBOT-298 robotic window cleaner is said to have a powerful vacuum that enables the device to hold onto the surface of the glass without having to depend on magnets. With the help of inbuilt AI smart technology and smart sensors, the robot can detect the window edges and accordingly plan its route.

The robot can suck out the dust and remove the dirt by sticking to the surface of the glass. It comes with an auto-adjustable pneumatic pad for controlling the treads with accuracy without being affected by the dirt on the glass.

The HOBOT-298 can work along both horizontal and vertical cleaning routes.
