Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) said that it has wrapped up the acquisition of the digital media business of NXTDIGITAL in India, thereby opening up a direct-to-consumer practice.
The closing of the deal follows the approval from the Indian National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) as well as its sanctioning the scheme of arrangement between Hinduja Global Solutions and NXTDIGITAL.

I believe we can leverage each other’s expertise, talent and credentials in the media and telecom segments to grow faster and expand further in Asia and globally.”
NXTDIGITAL, which is the media vertical of the Hinduja Group, provides services through satellite, broadband, and digital cable.
Following the deal, Hinduja Global Solutions and NXTDIGITAL are expected to make use of their new synergies and work towards developing their partnership from a technology and digital angle.
The deal will add close to 1,200 employees to Hinduja Global Solutions in India and footprint in 1,500 locations covering 4,500 pin codes. For NXTDIGITAL, the deal allows it to grow into new regions while bolstering its footprint in India.
