Hero MotoCorp to roll out electric vehicles by March 2022

Indian motorcycles and scooters manufacturer disclosed plans to launch its first (EV) by March 2022.

Hero MotoCorp claimed that is committed to offering sustainable mobility solutions to its customers and is fast tracking its focus on producing EVs as an integral part of its product portfolio.

The Indian automobile firm said that its electric vehicle project is in the advanced stages with the product planned to be manufactured at its Garden Factory plant in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.

According to Hero MotoCorp, Garden Factory will have an integrated ecosystem for battery pack manufacturing and testing, vehicle assembly and vehicle end of line testing (EOL).
