Hero MotoCorp sells 1.4 million units in Q1 FY23

Hero MotoCorp said that it sold 13.90 lakhs motorcycles and scooters in the first quarter of the financial year 2022-23 (Q1 FY23), which is a 35.7% increase, compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

In Q1 FY22, the Indian automobile manufacturer sold 10.25 lakh units.

According to Hero MotoCorp, the company sold 11.89 lakh units during the January-March quarter of this year.

Hero MotoCorp stated: “The growth in volumes indicate the continuously improving consumer sentiment and the company expects the positive trend to continue in the coming months, on the back of a decent monsoon, and encouraging farm activity.”

Last month, the Indian automobile firm sold 4.85 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters, which is a 3.3% growth compared to the corresponding month of the previous fiscal year in which it sold 4.69 lakh vehicles.
