Hero MotoCorp launches Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 to celebrate 30 years of the iconic Splendor
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has introduced the latest generation of the Splendor motorcycle, the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0, marking the 30th anniversary of what is considered the world’s highest-selling motorcycle. This launch reflects the brand’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the two-wheeler segment.
Enhanced Features and Design of Splendor+ XTEC 2.0
The Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 retains the iconic design of its predecessors while incorporating modern technological advancements. Among the notable features are LED headlights with High Intensity Position Lamp (HIPL), an H-shaped signature tail lamp, and a suite of safety and convenience features that underscore its market dominance. Notably, the bike offers an impressive fuel efficiency of 73 kmpl, a figure that speaks to its economic operation.
Technical Upgrades and User Convenience
The new model is equipped with a digital speedometer that includes an Eco-indicator and a Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMI), enhancing fuel efficiency. It also features Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, and hazard lights for increased safety. The design includes a longer seat for greater comfort and a larger, hinge-type glove box for additional utility.

It incorporates Hero’s i3s (Idle Stop Start System) technology to boost fuel economy. The bike also boasts a low maintenance cost and an extended service interval of 6000 km, significantly reducing the overall running cost.

Available in three dual-tone color options—Matte Grey, Gloss Black, and Gloss Red—the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 combines style with substance.
