HCL Technologies to drive digital transformation of Sweden’s Husqvarna

HCL Technologies said that it has extended its partnership with Husqvarna Group, a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, through a new multi-year IT services contract.

According to the Indian IT services provider, the engagement will take forward the digital transformation journey of Husqvarna by tapping automation and enabling an agile and customer-focused workforce.

Husqvarna is engaged in not only producing outdoor power products but also watering products, power tools, and cutting equipment.

HCL Technologies said that the enlarged partnership with the Swedish firm builds upon its existing infrastructure and application development agreement to provide hybrid cloud management, security services, and digital workplace to the latter.

The services will establish a world-class IT foundation, said HCL Technologies, which will help Husqvarna improve service delivery and user experience for global workforce of over 10,000 employees. Additionally, HCL Technologies will work together with the Swedish manufacturer on its innovation journey to build products and services for global clients.
