HCL Technologies opens new facility in Colombo to expand footprint in SL

Indian IT services provider HCL Technologies has expanded its presence in Sri Lanka (SL) by opening a new facility at the Cinnamon Life complex in Colombo.

According to HCL Technologies, its new office in Colombo will be its largest in Sri Lanka and will house 4,000 employees.

The company said that it had recently recruited over 1,000 local employees in Sri Lanka.

HCL Technologies, which had forayed into Sri Lanka in 2020, plans to occupy 80% of Cinnamon Life by reserving 10 floors now and 10 more at a later stage.

From the new office in Colombo, the Indian firm aims to offer IT services to its international clients in the areas of system integration and digital application services, product development and support, as well as infrastructure management services such as digital workplace solutions.
