HCL Technologies opens innovation hub in Edmonton, Canada
HCL Technologies said that it has opened an innovation center in Edmonton in the Canadian province of Alberta, which will be focused on engineering and research and development (R&D) services.
According to the Indian IT services provider the HCL Edmonton Center will bring together an ecosystem of partners from academia, startups, government institutions, and technology providers. It will operate as a hub for the company’s engineering teams for co-innovating with customers and solving complex business problems for clients around the world.
The HCL Edmonton Center will have an engineering and co-innovation lab for enabling high tech and software clients to envision their products and also to see quick product prototyping, collaborative research and continuous learning to reduce time taken to market.
Amarjeet Sohi — Mayor of Edmonton said: “I am pleased to welcome HCL to our community. This announcement is the beginning of a new partnership between our city and the company, and today’s announcement is proof that Edmonton is a great place to do business.”
HCL Technologies said that clients can utilize the innovation hub to build new product designs while partnering on go-to-market solutions. The team at HCL Edmonton Center will be involved in product engineering, operational technology services, platform engineering, and next-generation engineering, research and development, said the Indian IT company.
