HCL Technologies, Cybellum forge cybersecurity partnership to serve auto industry

Indian IT services provider HCL Technologies has joined forces with Israel-based Cybellum Technologies to offer the global automotive industry a variety of cybersecurity solutions and services.

Cybellum Technologies is a provider of automotive cybersecurity threat and risk assessment solutions.

According to the Israeli firm, the partnership capitalizes on the strong commitment of both the partners to provide security for vehicles as increasingly transform into connected devices.

In this collaboration, HCL Technologies will combine a scaled delivery model of the Cybellum Cyber Digital Twins platform with related services to suppliers and manufacturers.

Cybellum Technologies said that the model will provide an inclusive solution for risk assessment as well as automated vulnerability management, compliance with regulatory needs, and continual tracking of emerging cyber threats.

The Israeli company said that a dedicated team comprised of cyber experts from HCL Technologies will guide the initiative, making sure that the joint solution is tailored to the specific needs of mobility and automotive companies that are focused specifically on UNECE WP. 29 regulations as well as the upcoming ISO/SAE 21434 policies.
