HCL, Google Cloud to launch healthcare and life sciences solutions
HCL Technologies said that it has extended its partnership with Google Cloud in order to jointly launch life sciences and healthcare solutions for customers.
The Indian IT services provider said that the partnership will bring together the best of the two firms’ life sciences and deep health care domain capabilities and investments via co-innovation, and by addressing the transitions in the industry.
Shrikanth Shetty — HCL Technologies corporate vice president said: “We partnered with Google Cloud for this key initiative because it will enable our experts at HCL to incorporate decades of domain expertise to deliver cutting-edge, cloud-native solutions to the market.
“The partnership will help improve the patient and employee experiences and use data to drive insights in areas like claims management and servitization.”
HCL Technologies will create a center of excellence (CoE) for Google Cloud with subject matter experts from the industry and Google Cloud-certified ideapreneurs. The CoE will provide solutions for payers, providers, medtech, as well as biopharma customers.
The Indian firm’s Google Cloud Native Labs will accelerate the solutions by leveraging Google Cloud’s support to offer solutions via its native data and artificial intelligence (AI) offerings as well as its security capabilities throughout the healthcare and life science value chain.
The HCL CoE will create solutions to critical industry issues such as data governance, security, and interoperability while also providing a superior customer experience.
