Happiest Minds Technologies opens development centre in Bhubaneswar

Happiest Minds Technologies, a Mindful IT Company, has inaugurated a new development centre in Bhubaneswar as part of its long-term investment plans for further growth in Odisha.

The Happiest Minds Development Centre at Bhubaneswar located at Fortune Towers was opened by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Naveen Patnaik said: “Odisha has been taking giant strides in IT sector in recent years. The growth momentum is accelerating in IT space with growing confidence of IT companies on Odisha as an investment destination.

“Odisha is now fast emerging as a technology resource hub of India creating jobs for our youth.”

Happiest Minds Technologies said that it was given approval by the Odisha government’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) under the ease of business initiative to establish a software development centre at Fortune Towers. The Indian digital transformation and IT services company said that it has allocated an investment of INR 265 crores for implementing the initiative.

Venkatraman Narayanan — Happiest Minds Technologies MD and CFO said: “The rise of Bhubaneswar as a destination of choice for businesses is on an ever-rising curve. This is the basis of the industry-supporting initiatives of the state government, duly complemented by the burgeoning talent pool available in the city and nearby regions.

“Aligned with the ethos of Happiest Minds, the new development centre (Smiles 7) will help us meet evolving customer needs, accelerating our growth and the overall development of the state.”

Recently, Happiest Minds Technologies purchased a commercial property in Bengaluru to expand its footprint in the Garden City apart from extending its development facilities in Noida.
