Happiest Minds Technologies said that it has executed a digital transformation project for for optimizing the latter’s order management with robotic process automation (RPA) in Microsoft Power Automate.

Coca-Cola Bottling Company United (Coca-Cola United), which has been traditionally supplying Coca-Cola products to retailers and restaurants directly had launched its new freestyle vending machine. Owing to this, the company has been challenged to optimize its order and invoicing procedures.

For this, Coca-Cola Bottling Company United deployed Microsoft Power Automate robotic process automation for advancing the freestyle initiative with process automation.

Happiest Minds Technologies said that it has helped Coca-Cola Bottling Company United by using Power Virtual Agents to develop a bot which served as an intelligent front end to the new solution.

The IT company used Power Automate to drive the entire process and by interoperating with Azure Key Vault and other Azure services, the system was able to access internal and also external systems securely and orchestrate the complete order process, from purchase order to reconciliation, in SAP.

– Manager of Development for BI and Master Data at Coca-Cola Bottling Company United said: “It was too costly to create APIs for our legacy applications like SAP and others, and we also had to navigate a third-party website.

“We used Power Automate RPA bots to fill these gaps and automate the process.”
