H5 Data Centers acquires seven data centers in US from vXchnge
H5 Data Centers has acquired seven data centers across the US from vXchnge for an undisclosed price.
According to the edge data center and carrier hotel provider, the data centers are located in Nashville, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Secaucus (New Jersey), Portland, St. Paul, and St. Louis.
Through the acquisition, H5 Data Centers adds more than 250,000 square feet of data center space and over 150 customers, including Fortune 500 companies, communications carriers, cloud service providers, and content distribution networks.
Josh Simms — founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers said: “The demand for edge data center space continues to grow. Acquiring this vXchnge portfolio of data centers gives H5 Data Centers an opportunity to expand our portfolio to 20 markets, deepen relationships with customers and continue to build and grow interconnected digital ecosystems.”
