Great Eastern Shipping wraps up sale of Jag Lata Aframax Crude Carrier

The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) said that it has completed the delivery of its Jag Lata Aframax Crude Carrier to undisclosed buyers.

The 2003-built vessel was contracted to be sold to the buyers in July 2021. It is of nearly 105,716 deadweight tonnage (dwt).

Great Eastern Shipping did not reveal the financial terms of the deal as well.

Following the sale of the Jag Lata Aframax Crude Carrier, Great Eastern Shipping has a fleet of 45 vessels. Of these, 31 are tankers, which include eight crude carriers, 18 product tankers, and five LPG carriers.

The remaining are 14 dry bulk carriers.

Great Eastern Shipping’s current fleet has an average age of 12.01 years aggregating 3.57 million dwt.
