GMM Pfaudler to acquire industrial agitators manufacturer Mixel France for €7m

GMM Pfaudler (GMMP), through its fully-owned subsidiary , has agreed to acquire industrial agitators manufacturer SAS and its fully-owned subsidiary Mixel Agitator Co. for €7 million.

Mixel is engaged in designing and manufacturing standard and made-to-measure mixing systems, which are used across multiple industries.

The company has over 45,000 agitators installed around the world.

Mixel, which has a turnover of €13.2 million as on 31 December 2021, has a couple of manufacturing plants, one in Lyon in France, and the second in Beijing in China.

Managing Director said: “The acquisition of Mixel is in line with our growth and diversification strategy, it further enhances our product portfolio and also strengthens our Mixing business by bringing in additional technology and process know-how.”

The acquisition is conditional on French law and will follow the general principles of consultation and information with the works council.

GMM Pfaudler, which is an India-based provider of corrosion-resistant technologies, systems, and services, caters to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
