Get ready to be amazed: Apple’s HomePod Mini now in stunning midnight – Pre-order begins!
Apple has unveiled the latest addition to its smart speaker lineup, the HomePod Mini in Midnight, featuring 100 percent recycled mesh fabric. Compact yet powerful, the HomePod Mini stands at just 3.3 inches but delivers substantial sound quality. Available starting Wednesday, July 17, this new color variant complements the existing palette of yellow, orange, blue, and white.
The HomePod Mini is designed to fit seamlessly into any decor with its acoustically transparent mesh exterior and a backlit touch surface that lights up from edge to edge. Priced at $99 in the U.S., it offers an array of smart features integrated with Apple Music‘s vast catalog of over 100 million songs, allowing for an immersive listening experience whether using a single speaker, a stereo pair, or multiroom audio setups.
Moreover, the speaker can be paired with Apple TV 4K to enhance home theater setups, providing a richer audio experience. The incorporation of Siri enhances user interaction, enabling music search by artist, song, lyrics, and more, alongside managing daily tasks and controlling smart home devices. Siri’s capabilities extend to creating automations, receiving alerts for smoke or carbon monoxide detection, checking indoor temperature and humidity, and using the Intercom feature for household announcements.
HomePod Mini in Midnight will be available for order through the Apple.com site and the Apple Store app. Starting July 17, it will also hit shelves in Apple Store locations across the U.S., Canada, China mainland, Singapore, and 28 other countries and regions. Additionally, it can be purchased through Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers, with prices varying by retailer.
Apple’s strategic move to enhance its HomePod Mini line with a new, sophisticated color and improved functionalities aims to attract a broader consumer base seeking advanced smart home and audio solutions.
