Gayatri Highways has offered to acquire a 13% stake in road construction company HKR Roadways Limited from an existing shareholder for INR 60,34,980.

HKR Roadways is engaged in the business pertaining to four laning of the roads in Telangana under public private partnership (PPP) as build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis and also in collecting toll, charges, and fees from the users of the project.

The company’s total revenue in FY 2020 was INR1,87,44,72,814.

Gayatri Highways said that as it is engaged in the infrastructure industry, the investment in HKR Roadways will be very beneficial for its future growth prospects.

The acquisition is expected to be closed within 60 days.
